About Honey Button House - Jimboomba Florist
The blossoming story of Honey Button House started in 2024 with Monique and Lyel. It grew from their passion to spend quality time with their kids while sprucing up their hobby farm and creating an inspiring educational space to nurture various creative skills.
Nature and creativity are absolutely vital for a vibrant and fulfilling life, yet they often get overlooked. When we connect with nature, we feel whole, healthy, and alive! Whenever life feels overwhelming and unclear, diving into painting, crafting, or getting our hands dirty in the garden can lift the fog and release the weight. It’s a magical escape, a joyful expression of self, and most importantly—it's so much fun!
Monique has always been a creative spirit, convinced she could draw before she even took her first steps. With expertise in a multitude of creative mediums, she’s a lifelong learner, constantly picking up new skills. Holding a degree in Industrial Design and a minor in Graphic Design and Visual Arts, she’s racked up numerous artistic awards throughout her journey. With over 15 years experience in the wedding industry as a wedding coordinator, wedding cake maker, florist and entertainer she's an expert in her field.

She applies many of these skills to her daily life and her children have already shown great interest in floristry. She lovingly calls her children by various names, with "Honey Button" being the favourite. And that’s how their beautiful home came to be known as Honey Button House!
